2025 Advocacy Days Are Confirmed
Please mark your calendars for these important dates. More details will be coming soon. Read more below on the impact of 2025 advocacy days for Texas counselors. March 11th 2025 As we approach the 2025 legislative session, it is crucial for members of the Texas Counseling Association (TCA) to recognize the transformative power of advocacy days. These dedicated moments are not just dates on a calendar; they are opportunities to shape the future of the counseling profession and ensure that our collective voices are heard in the halls of power. Advocacy days provide a platform for counselors to directly engage with lawmakers, highlighting the critical issues that impact our field and the communities we serve. By participating, you can share firsthand experiences, present data, and advocate for policies that support mental health services and professional standards. Your stories and expertise bring to life the abstract numbers and statistics, making a compelling case for legislative action. NMCA has openings on the Advocacy Committee and is looking for fellow mental health professionals who are passionate and want to engage in the process of planning for 2025 advocacy days. Please contact us if you are interested in participating. |
